Compared with many entry-level phones, the Note 60x is most interesting as a low-cost durability-focused 4G device. It keeps the price target modest while offering Android 14, a USB-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a slim 187g body for everyday use.

Value Positioning

The Realme Note 60x sits in the ultra-affordable segment, where the most important question is not whether it can replace a mid-range phone, but whether it covers daily basics without obvious compromises. Based on the supplied catalog price data and Realme’s official product page, this model is aimed at buyers who want a simple Android handset for messaging, calls, social apps, browsing, video playback, and light games. It does not offer 5G, a high-resolution display, stereo speakers, or fast charging, so its value depends on expectations. For users who mainly need dependable battery life, dual SIM support, expandable storage, and a modern-enough interface, the Note 60x makes sense as a first phone, backup phone, student phone, or low-cost work device.

Design and Durability

The design story is more important here than the camera count or raw speed. The phone measures about 7.8mm thick and weighs 187g, which keeps it reasonably slim for a model with a 5000mAh battery. Realme promotes ArmorShell protection, reinforced glass, a die-cast aluminum chassis structure, and IP54 dust and splash resistance. IP54 should be understood carefully: it is useful protection against dust exposure and water splashes, but it is not the same as full waterproofing. The Wilderness Green and Marble Black color options also keep the phone visually simple. This is a practical build for buyers who are worried about everyday knocks, school bags, delivery work, or shared family use.

Display Experience

The 6.74-inch IPS LCD is one of the phone’s stronger usability features. Its 90Hz refresh rate should make scrolling feel smoother than a basic 60Hz panel, especially in menus, social feeds, and supported apps. The 720 x 1600 pixel resolution is clearly entry-level, so text and images will not look as sharp as on Full HD+ phones. Peak brightness is listed at 560 nits, which is acceptable for the class but may still require shade in harsh outdoor sunlight. The large panel and 20:9 shape make the Note 60x better suited to casual video, reading, and chat apps than compact one-handed use.

Performance and Storage

The Unisoc Tiger T612 is an entry-level 12nm chipset with two Cortex-A75 performance cores and six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores. That setup is adequate for light Android use, but it should not be confused with a gaming or heavy multitasking platform. The eMMC 5.1 storage standard is another sign of the budget positioning, as app loading and file transfers will not feel as quick as phones with UFS storage. The available memory options include 64GB with 3GB RAM, 64GB with 4GB RAM, and 128GB with 4GB RAM. The dedicated microSDXC slot is important because it lets users expand storage without sacrificing the second SIM slot.

Camera Expectations

The camera system is intentionally basic. The rear setup is listed as an 8MP camera with an auxiliary lens, LED flash, panorama support, and 1080p video at 30fps. The front camera is a 5MP wide unit with 720p video recording. This is enough for quick documentation, video calls, QR scans, and casual daylight snapshots, but buyers should keep expectations modest for low light, fast-moving subjects, background separation, and detailed cropping. In this price class, the Note 60x is better judged as a utility camera phone than as a content-creation device.

Battery and Charging

The 5000mAh battery is one of the clearest reasons to consider the Realme Note 60x. Combined with a 720p display, a modest 4G chipset, and entry-level performance targets, that capacity should be well matched to long daily endurance. Realme also highlights long-life battery claims on its official page, although real-world results always depend on signal strength, brightness, apps, and charging habits. The trade-off is charging speed: 10W wired charging over USB-C is basic by current Android standards. Buyers who charge overnight may not mind, but anyone used to 33W, 45W, or faster charging will notice the difference.

Software and Everyday Features

The phone ships with Android 14 and Realme UI. That gives it a current Android base for an entry-tier device, plus Realme’s familiar interface features. The sensor list covers accelerometer, proximity, and compass functions, while the official Realme specifications also mention light and magnetic induction sensors depending on regional listing. The presence of a 3.5mm headphone jack is a practical advantage for wired earphones, school use, and budget audio accessories. The loudspeaker is listed as present, but users should not expect the sound stage of higher-end stereo speaker phones.

Connectivity Notes

Connectivity is centered on 4G LTE rather than 5G. The supplied bands include broad LTE support across bands 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 20, 28, 38, 40, and 41, though actual compatibility still depends on the local carrier and regional model. Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac brings dual-band Wi-Fi, while Bluetooth 5.0 covers common wireless audio and accessory needs. Positioning support includes GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, and BDS. NFC is not included, so this phone is not ideal for users who rely on tap-to-pay or NFC-based transit cards.

Who Should Buy It

The Realme Note 60x is best for buyers who prioritize low cost, battery capacity, durability claims, expandable storage, and basic Android functions. It suits students, first-time smartphone users, older users who need a simple phone, and anyone looking for a secondary handset. It is less suitable for buyers who want 5G, sharp Full HD+ visuals, strong cameras, quick charging, or demanding game performance. The closest comparison should not be a premium Realme GT or numbered Realme model, but other low-cost LTE phones where battery, repair anxiety, and daily reliability matter more than benchmark scores.

Conclusion

The Realme Note 60x is a straightforward budget 4G phone with a large 90Hz screen, 5000mAh battery, expandable storage, Android 14, and a durability-focused body. Its cameras, charging speed, and display resolution are modest, but the core package is sensible for the price. Choose it if you want an affordable everyday phone built around battery life and toughness, not premium performance.
